On stage, American Julie Brown told in a vulnerable and hopeful way the story of the expeditions she made in her career and personal life. About the baggage we carry, the importance of vulnerability and the power of working together. An insight that continued to resonate loudly.

Karen Pesse shook us up with her intriguing keynote on data and AI. She demonstrated that digital data can only help us if we can see and understand our own biases. And that it is vital that we eliminate the gender gap. Because it is precisely those stereotypes that cause us as a society to have blind spots with tech today.

One of the performers collaborating with the Concertgebouw is Lou Couton, a 25-year-old French performance artist living alternately in Brussels and Sofia, Bulgaria. During the conference, Lou invited the audience to consider the complex interplay between one's own identity and external influences. Her solo was a wonderful exploration of a universal experience that connects us all: how do you find your own identity while influences come from all sides?
