"Our thoughts are like seeds, they need time to grow"

Aleksandra moved to Belgium nine years ago. As a cook by profession, her true passion is Compliments of Nature, a project focused on zero-waste practices, educational workshops, and farm-to-table events.

to reconnect people with farms, with real food, with the beauty of eating seasonally and locally. I want to tell the story behind every humble crate of cabbage and remind people that with just a bit of knowledge and a few skills, we can all follow nature’s lead.

They are the ones growing food the natural, organic way. The strength, faith, and perseverance it takes to do that work is beyond words.

 It comes from nature, from the earth, from my heart. I love meeting new people, discovering farms, hearing their stories, cooking, and feeding people. I love creating simple beauty on a plate.  

"I would invest more time in marketing."

 it’s not my strength. And the paperwork… oh, the paperwork! But hey, Compliments of Nature is only 1.5 years old. We’ll catch up.

In 10 years I see myself on a farm where people come for workshops, to shop, to spend time with us. A place where, every now and then, I set a long table in the grass and host a feast to celebrate the first tomatoes or the first corn of the season.
